  2. I hope people will call Rep. Garey Bies. This law would make it illegal for anyone to talk or provide literature on food preparation or on supplements unless they are a registered dietician. Wow!

    In January, 2010, in the infamous Citizens United case, the U.S.Supreme Court held that the 1st Amendment protects the rights of corporations to speak, granting corporations the same freedom of speech as people. Although I do not agree that corporations are people, this law will restrict the rights of people to speak regarding nutrition and supplements, in violation of Citizens United and the 1st Amendment.
